Would You Hire an Overweight Personal Trainer? And on the Air With LTR Tonight

Would you ever hire a personal trainer that is overweight? Some people say absolutely not, others like myself, say it depends on the circumstances. We want to know what you would do, and what factors would go into your decision? Please cast your vote to the right, and leave your comments below or on our Facebook page. We will be reading some of them on the air tonight. The show is from 6-7 PST and you can listen live online.

Paul and I will also be talking with John “The Pit Master” Hackleman. He is a tenth degree Black Belt, the inventor of Hawaiian Kempo, and Chuck Liddell’s trainer. He recently wrote a blog called Optimal Health and Fitness, that we shared on LTR. We will get his thoughts on his unique fitness philosophy, and his take on Chuck Liddell’s possible retirement. You can watch a video of my first experience at Hackleman’s gym The Pit, and when I worked out with Hackleman and then got into the cage with “The Iceman” himself!!! See videos below. Warning: It’s not pretty…

Other Topics include: Discussion about our web poll, last weekend’s Central Coast Cancer Challenge, why a 10k trail run was harder for me than a half marathon, my dairy detox, Bill Clinton’s new diet, and the Heritage Oaks Bank Fun Run that will be held this weekend in Paso Robles. Mitch Massey, the race director, will join us to talk about the race. Leave your questions/comments below or text the show at (805) 242-1280. You can also send us an email radio@livingtherun.com. Write “Pilates” on your comment or question and you will be eligible for our Ardy’s Pilates Power Pack Giveaway which is worth $200.
